In early October, Land Rover unveiled the 2018 Range Rover Sport, which features a revamped exterior design and a fresh new interior layout. Expected to arrive at dealerships early next year, the SUV will be available in V6 and V8 gasoline-engine models, plus a V6 diesel model. Land Rover will follow up in the summer with the introduction of the 2019 plug-in hybrid iteration.
The vehicle's refreshed exterior is highlighted by a new grille, LED headlights and an forceful bumper. The two 10-inch HD touchscreens that form the InControl® Touch Pro™ Duo infotainment system are quite clearly the central focus point of the interior, but we'd be remiss if we didn't mention that there are up to 14 power points throughout the cabin, offering everyone the opportunity to charge their electronic devices.
The 2019 Range Rover Sport PHEV is the first-ever plug-in hybrid electric vehicle to come from Land Rover, and teams a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Ingenium gasoline engine with an electric motor to deliver a combined 398 total horsepower and healthy 472 pound-feet of torque.
At Land Rover El Paso, we're proud to serve drivers from the Fort Bliss, Socorro, Spark and Horizon City areas.
